Long hair doesn't have to be a bore. As I said before, 2012 is bringing life back into hair. Change up your part, add some products, and get your hands in it. Take out those old flat irons, curling irons, and hair accessories and let's have some fun. Mix it up too! Alternate different size curling irons to get more of a natural texture.
Here is what our Artistic Designer, Krystle Hansen had to say:
"Let's talk about hairdos for long hair. I know that's its hard to find new styles for long hair, so my big tip is trying out a curling iron in a new way. Get a 1 1/2 in. , 1 in. , or 3/4 in. curling iron and a good thermal protectent spray (Sebastian Professional's Shine Define - a three and one product that has thermal protection, hold and great shine). Seperate your hair into sections and spray the product on about an inch section of your hair. Take the curling iron and wrap your hair around the barrel of the curling iron, like a wand, not in the clip. Hold the hair there for about 5 to 10 seconds. This will take you a little to get the use to, but it will give your hair a soft, sexy, beachy wave depending on the size of the curling iron. Try this out so you dont have lifeless long locks; show off body and waves instead. It's great for an evening out or just to switch up your daily routine."
